The Doctor

So today, I was at the doctor's. Emergency update before I go back to school... yaay. The parents want me to have a clean bill of health, because they don't like the school doctor, and they're even less enthused with a male taking care of my health. It's a bit hard with my condition, but it looks like I might be okay until my first weekend out. Then I'll have to go back again. :/

Anyway, when we were sitting in the waiting room, a woman came in with a really beautiful little girl, and I mean really beautiful. I'm not sure how it came about, but I ended up kneeling down and playing with her on the floor. She was talking about her mum pulling her hair out, which got my attention very fast. I asked her why, and she said that her mum wanted to split up with her dad. This just blew away what little faith I have left in the world. What is splitting up when you have a three-year-old going to do for the poor child?
